Dashboard View
We now offer a Dashboard that summarizes the upcoming events happening in your family's calendar, broken out nicely between your events and your family's events. It will soon offer a lot more, including quick access to your family's grocery list, favorite web links, and more.

Localized Culture Settings
We have put a lot of effort into providing localized date/time and currency formatting for our users outside of the US. Are you accustomed to seeing the week start on Monday instead of Sunday? How about 24-hour time format? Language-specific names for months and days? Yep -- it's all there.

Themes
You know what they say about all work and no play -- we decided to spice up MyHomePoint a little bit by offering support for custom themes. There are only two themes right now, but as we move along, we'll be adding more (and hopefully accepting user-created themes in the future).

Reminders and Recurring Events
Anytime anyone in your family adds an event to the calendar, you can choose to receive an email. You can also set email reminders for any event that you create so that you'll never miss a scheduled event (as long as you're at the computer, of course). You can also create recurring events, giving you even more scheduling flexibility.
Update: You can now have reminders delivered to your mobile device!

Birthdays and Anniversaries
Create special events for birthdays and anniversaries so that they are marked in the calendar with unique icons. Automatically receive email reminders every year prior to each special day.

Tasks and Chores
You can create and manage a personal to-do list, as well as assign chores to other family members. Tasks are helpfully highlighted when they become overdue, and your to-do list is displayed prominently on the main calendar page. As with calendar events, you can also set email reminders for any task.

Notes
Never forget anything again. Did you just think of something to buy at the store? Did the perfect song lyric or story idea just pop into your head? Just create a new note and you'll have it when you need it. You can create your own private notes, or you can share them with everyone else in your family.

Home Inventory
Are you prepared for the worst? If something bad should happen (fire, burglary) it will be extremely helpful to have a detailed inventory of the most important items in your home. Aside from security, it's simply convenient. Did the TV just break? Is it still under warranty? When and where did you buy it? Now you'll always know.

Family Management
Easily create and manage any number of family members who can use the site. And unlike traditional calendar applications that are based on individual users, your kids don't even have to be old enough to use the computer and yet they can still be created as family members, added to events, etc. Even add your pets to the account if you want!

Recycle Bin
How many times have you accidentally deleted something in other programs that you actually wanted? In MyHomePoint, most of the items that you delete will actually be held in your family's recycle bin for several weeks, giving you ample opportunity to recover from any accidents with the delete key.
